Siddaramaiah Sets Up Team To Probe Sex Scandal Involving JDS MP

A day after voting occurred within the constituency, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has ordered the formation of a particular investigation staff to probe a intercourse scandal allegedly involving Hassan MP and Janata Dal (Secular) candidate from the seat, Prajwal Revanna. Mr Revanna, grandson of JDS chief and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, has left for Germany.

After movies depicting sexual acts started circulating in Hassan, a few of which allegedly concerned girls being compelled or filmed with out their consent, the Karnataka State Fee for Ladies had, on Thursday, requested the chief minister to arrange a particular investigation staff. 

Saying the choice on Saturday, Siddaramaiah wrote in Kannada on X, “The federal government has determined to type a particular investigation staff in reference to the Prajwal Revanna obscene video case. Obscene video clips are circulating in Hassan district, the place it seems that girls have been sexually assaulted.

Mr Revanna left for Germany on Saturday morning.

The JDS is in an alliance with the BJP and, earlier within the day, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar demanded solutions from the ruling get together on the Centre as nicely.
